Photo Touch Up

As you look through your photo collection, have you come across photos that you thought would make a great portrait if only the background were different?  With photo touch up techniques it is now possible to make an artistic transformation of any photo into a beautiful portrait.  In fact, if the quality and resolution of the original photo is good enough, the finished portrait photo could be enlarged to a size that is suitable for framing and displaying in a place of prominence.

In this photo the young woman is perfectly positioned.  The lighting of the face allowed for an easy conversion to a portrait style photograph.  The process began with the removal of the background image.  The next step of the photo touch up involved reversing the image so the young woman was now facing the opposite direction.

At this point in the process the image of the woman was placed against a dark background, although you could use any background you desire, including scenic or theme backgrounds.  Once the image is placed on the background the edges were darkened and blended so it now appears that the photo was originally shot this way and with a little photo touch up and makeover the job was done.

These types of photo touch up projects make great personalised photo gifts.  It is the type of gift that gets displayed and remembered.  Rather than being relegated to a back storage area, this gift would be enjoyed on a daily basis.
