One fun thing that digital enhancement of your photos allows you to do is to create scenes or images that do not really exist.  You can add weight to a thin person, make an overweight person appear thin, or even transfer a person’s face onto an inanimate object.

This photo is an example of playfully altering a photo to age the young man and try to imagine what he would look like if he were older.  Using photo touch up techniques the digital photo specialist was able to make the young man appear to be balding, added a mustache and beard, and turned the hair on the face and head gray.  He was even able to add weight to the mans face.

The great thing is that it was all done digitally.  All of the Photo touch up is done on a copy, so the original photo remains unchanged.  You would still have the original photo as well as the copy that had been so creatively altered.

This would make a fun personalised photo gift that would be sure to get some laughs and to let the person receiving the photo know you were thinking of them.  As you look through your photo collection, remember to think of the fun you can have with a Photo touch up  on your existing photos.
