There are times that you have a photo that does not need a major transformation.  What it needs is a digital photo restoration to repair and liven up the look of a damaged photo.  That is an area where digital technology has made vast improvements over older film photography.  Once a photo is put into a digital format there are any number of changes that can be made to it.

This example of photo restoration is of a good photograph that just needs a photo touch up to give a newer, fresher look.  The original photo had several discolorations, and what appear to be water spots that are marring the image.  In addition, there is noticeable fading of the photograph that has occurred over the years.  Once the photo was converted to a digital format and worked on by a photo restoration specialist there is no evidence of the damage that had been done to the photo.

Even if your original picture is in a lot worse shape than this example, photo repairs are possible.  Creased and torn photos can be made to look like new.  If the quality and resolution of the digital photo are high enough, you will have a restored photo that is suitable for enlargement and framing.
