Once you have you old photo repaired, there are many other image enhancements that you can have done.  Photo restoration is just the first step in breathing new life into your old photographs.  The images above give a couple of examples of some simple enhancements.

The image on the left shows an image that went through the photo restoration process.  All of the damaged areas were erased, and the detail has been restored to the image.  Once that was accomplished there was some interest added to the image with the use of fading to create the illusion of background lighting.

The image on the right shows the same image, only this time the photo was converted from black and white to color.  This techniques adds warmth to the photo, and gives the image an entirely new look.

These are just a couple of examples of what can be done with digital photo restoration.  With a little creativity you can have your old photos turned into works of art.  You can easily use more decorative backgrounds, or have several of your photos combined to create a collage.  These make great personalized photo gifts to friends or family members.

Photo restoration is a great option if you have any of your old photos that have become damaged over the years.  Instead of allowing these photographs to remain hidden away in an old photo album, you can have them repaired and once again be able to display and enjoy them.
