I wanted to have my parents wedding photos restored as my mum was upset at how the pictures had faded and gone a shade of red over the years.  Having had a beloved photograph of my girlfriend's Mother for some time, and even attempting the repair myself (I'm no slouch with image manipulation) - I realised that the damage to the photo was beyond my ability.  A quick "photo repair uk" search on Google unearthed a plethora of websites offering the service I required. The Doctor Photo site, being attractive n design and a doddle to use, allowed me to view numerous before and after examples of the work and many were similar to my own. Using the simple photo upload, I received and instant PERSONAL reply to tell me my photo would be dealt with the same day. Only three hours later and a few piffling quid lighter - I have a perfect repair to a fairly badly damaged picture.Faultless, fantastic service. Adding a little bit of colour to a photo can totally transform into something special

Hi Jim, many thanks for putting life into a black and white photo.  Although I was only  three in May 1966 when Sheffield Wednesday came back from Wembley I vaguely remember this but my big Sister will and she'll be thrilled to bits.  This will be the first of many photos to be restored.  You were right not to colour the whole photo it just keeps the ambiance of the era but with a twist. I had originally thought that original print would be required, but scanning and uploading the picture eliminated any risk of the original being lost.
