Torn, creased, crumbled, stained, defaced or damaged photos can all be repaired to their original condition.  In short most photo repairs are achievable, whether it is restoration, removing cigarettes, backgrounds, objects etc. Or you may wish to remove spots whiten teeth etc. for a portfolio. The process for photo repairs can quite literally take ten minuets to ten hours for example if the photo is torn neatly lets say with a pair of scissors then it should only take a short time to restore back to its original condition.

On the other hand if the photo has been ripped by hand with sections of the photo missing or defaced then this is where the time factor for photo repairs increases dramatically. Where the photo has been creased or crumbled then once again this could take a few minuets to a few hours, small creases and folds may be removed in a short time but where the crease has gone through an important feature (face) then air brushing and cloning will have to take place thus increasing the overall time.

Photo repairs are not allways about damages as we can add or remove people objects etc. We use a process called cloning and background replacement, once again it is extremely difficult to gauge the time factor with some photo repairs without first seeing the photos, small items such as cigarettes tattoos etc. Are relatively simple and shouldn’t take much time (thus reducing the cost). Larger items like people, cars or unsightly objects may take longer. Photo repairs that require facial alterations for portfolios, face book, wedding or personal can all be modified. Whether it is removing spots, red- eye, changing a frown to a smile, or total makeovers like the one in our example, these factors and many more are usually all achievable using photo touch up.

The work and time involved in photo repairs and photo restoration is obviously something that has to be taken into consideration but the end result could be very special and unique, and once the final picture is framed and mounted it will be worth every penny. In general providing the photos are of a high quality and we are given detailed instructions as to your requirements then most tasks of this nature can be completed in less than two hours.
