Photo Repairs

Here we have an example of photo repairs by using add and remove techniques

Sometimes photos are not in need of restoration but may require some photo repairs, as there are still elements in the photo that you would like to add or remove.  This is one of those instances.  These are 2 perfectly good photos that the client wanted to have altered.  Instead of 2 separate photographs the client wanted one photograph of the two people standing in front of the cruise ship.

This process involved several steps.  The first step involved removing the image of the woman from the first photograph.  All of the background images were deleted so the image of the woman was isolated. 

Using photo repairs the second step is to resize the woman so that she would be in the correct proportion to the man.  If this were not done properly the woman would appear either too large or too small in comparison.

The final step is to add the image of the woman from the first photograph so that she appears to be standing next to the man in the second photograph.  This is a simple procedure, but it is something that must be done by hand.  There are not computer programs that could handle these type of photo repairs without leaving some of the background and making the photo look unnatural.

These type of  photo repairs can be accomplished on any of your old photographs.  You can repair, add, remove, etc. any elements in a photo that you want.  All you need is the vision and creativity to envision what you want to accomplish.
