Here we have two photos sent in by a woman who wanted to surprise her husband for his birthday.
As you can see the two children were standing in the same place when the photos were taken, the only difference is that they were taken about forty years apart.
The woman wanted to surprise her husband by giving him a photo gift of the two children on the same photo by using photo manipulation to extract one and place on the other.
As you can see the children are very much alike and she wanted to see what they would look like side by side
Photo gifts of this nature always make a surprising and unique present for the recipient and shows that some thought and care has gone into the gift rather than just choosing something of a shop shelf.
This example would always be a good idea but it needed be restricted to Father and son or mother and daughter, the best thing to do is have a look through all your old photos and look at them with a different light, try and imagine what can be taken from one and added to another. Once you have selected all the photos, just scan them and send the photos together with any ideas you may have.
