A Photo collage is merely a collection of photo images that are brought together into single photograph.  It provides a way for you to put together images in a creative way that would not be possible with original shots.

The following is a collection of photographs that span 10 years of a couple’s life together.  The idea for the project was to create a collage for their 10 year Wedding Anniversary.  It is an example of a great personalised photo gift.

The project involved some minor image enhancements in order to get it ready for the final photograph.  It started with the removal of all of the background images.  Once that was completed the edges of the remaining images were faded.  This allows the background image to show through more, and the edges of the three images are not as abrupt.

The final step was to superimpose the three altered images onto a scenic background.  This could be a romantic setting, a nature shot, or even a plain coloured background.  Once completed the photo could be printed and presented as an anniversary gift that will not soon be forgotten.

You can accomplish a similar result with any of the photos in your collection.  You may have to fix old photos or have digital restoration done if they are damaged, but any photo could be used.
