Image enhancement covers a large range of elements, such as fading, distortion, loosing colour etc. However most of the requests we receive fall under fading where a photo has been left out in the sun or has just faded through time. Or you may have a photo where just part of it requires image enhancement, this could occur when changing frames or maybe just a portion has been in contact with the elements.


The good news is that with image enhancement photos of this nature can generally be renewed to their original condition and more often than not better, in a short period of time. This process generally involves photo restoration and image enhancement techniques such as contrast, brightness and colourising but providing the colour is still there we need only enhance this as opposed to the lengthily process normally associated with colourising photos. The work involved on the above is normally quite simple and we can achieve most results within half an hour to an hour making this field one of our cheapest.

The image enhancement tools we have available are usually all brought into effect when receiving faded photo but as these are generally one click operations it goes a long way to reducing your cost. However it has to be said that on occasions we may receive a photo that is so badly faded where major photo restoration has to be carried out rebuilding facial features using airbrushing and cloning techniques etc. Obviously when this occurs we fall into the boundaries of more time which means more money, but as we keep saying we are one of a very limited number of sites that will carry out photo repairs and provide a sample prior to any financial commitment, in short if you don’t like what you see then you don’t have to pay.
