Damaged Photos

As you can see from the photo above, not only was the damaged photo repaired, there were also some image enhancements done as well.  The photo no longer has any of the distractions of the tape damaged corner, but it also looks fresher, and more up to date.  It has lost the faded look that can come from age and from too much exposure to sun light.

For those that are nervous about your photographs becoming damaged even more if the restoration specialist makes a mistake, you can relax knowing that your original photo does not undergo any changes at all.  All repairs to your damaged photos are accomplished on a digital copy. 

The damaged photos are first scanned into a computer.  That way all of the repairs are done on copies of the original images.  If there are any mistakes made during the process, it is a simple process to undo what was done, and then redone correctly.  Once the procedure is completed you will still have your original damaged photos, but you will also have a newly repaired and enhanced copy that you will be able to display and enjoy.

Having damaged photos is not unusual.  That does not mean that you have to just tolerate the problem.  The technology exists that makes it possible to have repairs made to your photos quickly and relatively inexpensively.
