The photos shown here give you an example of how much the look of a photo can be changes with just a few alterations.  What started out as two images of these boys became three very different photos in the end.

The images started out with both boys facing the same direction.  By reversing one of the images it was possible to have the boys facing each other for the final photo.  The backgrounds of the original photos were removed which allowed the specialist to place the image on any number of desired back grounds.  That alone makes a big difference in the look of the photographs.  However, the image enhancements do not need to stop there.

With some changes to the shading and the lighting effects, these photos can be altered even further.  Any type of artistic effect that you desire can usually be accomplished by a trained specialist.

These types of effects can be accomplished with almost any photo, regardless of the condition of the original.  The digital restoration techniques make it possible to fix old photos and to leave you with a new photo that may even be better than the original.
