Some of the most treasured pictures in a collection are children’s photos.  They grow so fast, and once that time in their life has past there is no way to go back and recreate it.  that is why it is so important to take advantage of the pictures you already have.

Many people believe that once the picture is snapped that is the end of the process, but with the technology and digital restoration that is available, that is really only the beginning of what can be accomplished with photos.  If you have the vision and the creativity, you can turn your existing photos into much more than they already are.

This photo is an example of a simple collage that shows a brother and sister at to separate times in their lives.  The bottom image shows the two together as young children.  Then the images of the two in their teenage years were added to complete the photo.

This type of idea could be used not only for children, but for adults as well.  One idea for a 50th Wedding Anniversary gift would be to have a photo of the couple on their wedding day put together with a current photo that shows the couple together after 50 years of marriage.

This type of collage is a simple way to incorporate more of your photos.  You can take your collage and have it framed for display.
