Why We Don’t Use Post

So you’ve decided to have a damaged photo repaired.  Or perhaps you have an idea for a collage or some other creative treatment for your photos.  Now what do you do?  Some photo repair and digital image enhancement services expect you to pack up your photos and send them through the post.  In reality, that is not a good idea.

Doctor Photo is a photo restoration service that does not even accept photos that are sent through the mail.  There are a number of reasons for this, but it boils down to providing faster, more secure service to you. 

Faster Service 

How long does it take for a package that you send to arrive at its destination?  If you are willing to pay extra, you could get your package delivered the next day.  Well, that’s a day too long.  By sending you photo in by email you can usually have the restoration completed and back in your possession the very same day. 

All you have to do is scan the original photo into the computer, and then send the digital image as an email attachment.  It arrives at its destination in seconds.  If you do not have the ability to scan photos, you could ask a friend, or go to your local photo shop or office supply store.  Your local library may also have the ability to scan photos. 

Secure Service 

Another advantage of sending a digital copy is that there is no risk of further damage to your original photo.  It does happen that packages that are sent through the post become damaged or even lost.  When you send the image through email the original photo never leaves your possession. 

If there is a mistake made with the photo repairs, or if the final result is not what you wanted, it can be changed digitally.  There will not be any alterations to your original photo.  If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with the results, you have not lost anything. 

No financial commitment or deposit 

When you order Doctor Photos photo restoration service you are not asked to pay for any of the work upfront.  Once the work is complete you are sent a watermarked copy of your photo for your inspection.  It is only after the job has met your expectations that you will pay for the work that was done.
