Black and White to Colour

Some photographs of people can be made much more interesting with some photo enhancements.  This photo is an example of just that.  It was shot in the 1960’s and was in black and white.  It was also shot against an uninteresting background.  The combination was a photo that did not capture the attention.

It did not require much in the way of photo repairs, but the client did have some changes they wanted to have accomplished.  The first was to convert the photo from black and white to colour.  Once that was accomplished the client wanted the image superimposed on a scenic background.

Many times an original photo is in good shape, but with digital enhancement it can create a photograph that can be framed and put on display.  While no photo touch ups were necessary, photo restoration still made improvements on the original before changing from black and white to colour.
