This photo is a great example of what you can do.  The only damage to the photo was some minor discoloration.  Although there was not much to be done in the way of photo repairs, there were some photo touch ups to be done during the proccess of converting from black and white to colour .

The client had requested that the photo be converted from black and white to colour, and they also wanted some adjustments to the lighting.  With the ability to do digital restoration and image enhancements, these minor changes are easily accomplished.

The nice part is, the client receives a restored, colorised photo, and they still have the original photo in its untouched condition.  Without seeing the original many people assume that the restored picture was shot in color and not changed from black and white to colour.  Viewers are amazed when they see the restored photo and compare it to the original.  The quality of the image enhancements can make the photograph appear as good as when it was first taken.
