Black and White to Colour

There are many times when an old photo can be damaged through mishandling, or just careless storage.  In the past, once a photo was damaged there was not much you could do about it.  It would forever be marred, which would detract from the memory that it captured.  Fortunately, digital technology has changed all that and once the damage is repaired we can even change from black and white to colour.

Now you can have your old damaged photos repaired to as good as new.  In some cases you even have the ability to make image enhancements that can make the new photo better than the original.

This black and white picture required several photo repairs before it cold be converted from black and white to colour.  There were several very noticeable creases in the photo; some creases that were nearly torn.  There was also a spot in the middle of the dress that appeared to have been marked with blue ink.

The photo restoration process included erasing any signs of the creases, and also removing the ink marks from the original photo.  Once the damaged photo had been repaired the image enhancement could be completed to convert from black and white to colour.

The ability to digitally fix old photos and do photo touch ups make it possible to counteract the damage that can occur over the years.
