With this photo the client requested that most of the colour be removed from the photo.  All of the background images were to be converted to black and white, while the couple at the alter remain colourised.

This process is a way to call attention to a special portion of the picture, and if done properly can create interest and beauty.  This is another example of the types of image enhancements that can be accomplished with new and old wedding photos.

Because all of the changes are done digitally, the original photos are left untouched.  You will still have your collection of pictures for the wedding album, but you will also have special keepsake photos that could be framed and displayed where you will see and enjoy them.

Photographs of special occasions are meant to be enjoyed.  It makes it possible to relive the special moment.  Having them in an album that only occasionally gets looked at limits the enjoyment that you should have.  These are great for your own use, or for a personalised photo gift.
