The process started by removing the background on all 4 photographs.  The next phase of the image enhancement was the combining of two separate photos to create a single image.  The man appears to be looking at his bride from behind, when in fact the image of the man was lifted from a completely different photo, and combined with a photo of his wife to create the effect.

The images were then trimmed to create a heart shape in the final photo.  All of these images were then superimposed on a plain cream background to complete the process.
